From 1 January 2013, Religion and Gender implements the policy of an imperative but non-compulsory model of publication fees or article processing charges. Read here for more information about this policy.
Congratulations
Religion and Gender congratulates some of its editors with their recent academic successes:
Dr Burkhard Scherer, who was appointed as Chair in Comparative Religion, Gender and Sexuality at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK.
Dr Adriaan van Klinken, who was appointed as Lecturer in African Christianity at the University of Leeds, UK.
Dr Chia Longman, who was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Gender Studies at Ghent University, Belgium.
Dr Sarah Bracke, who was awarded a post as Research Associate in the Women's Studies in Religion Programme at Harvard Divinity School.
Acceptance Rate
The 2012 acceptance rate of articles submitted to Religion and Gender was 11%. Through a rigorous peer review procedure only the best quality articles are selected for publication in the journal. Religion and Gender thanks the anonymous peer reviewers who help to ensure that the journal's high quality standards are met.
Forthcoming Issue
The forthcoming issue of Religion and Gender (no. 1, 2013) is dedicated to 'Gender, Religion and Migration'. The volume is guest edited by Louise Ryan and Elena Vacchelli and will be published in Spring 2013.
